“ One of the best subs I have ever had in my life. All the ingredients are fresh and the large is perfect size for a hungry guy, but not TOO big. Prices are reasonable for two subs with chips and drinks it was under 35 dollars. That's pretty rare these days. The family that runs it is amazing too very good people with good food and good prices. ”
“ Wow! Thank you, with a curtsy. Its been a challenge for me finding tasty food out in this area. I do love suggestions!! I ordered the Turkey special, next time its gonna be large. I love a good left over hoagie with a side of hot café de la olla. The bread is fabulous, soft with the slightest crunch and tasty. I love it. Just the right amount of mayo, no mustard, fresh pickles and tomatoes, and always great with well chopped lettuce that has that crunch. There is a nice cozy at home feeling inside, I choose takeout. Very nice service, very welcoming people. Thank you. ”
“ The best sub sandwiches in Lakewood, very friendly staff who get the combination of ingredients just right. ”
“ This is my go-to turkey sub shop. It seems to be run by a small Korean family and fortunately very close to my work. Cash only gives you a discount at the register. They have a small vs large sub. I usually get the small, which is about 8 inches of sandwich for $10 or so. The bread is the star of the show. So soft. So chewy. So perfect with the toasted turkey (I like mine hot). There is always a few people in line whenever I go. Be prepared to wait 5-10minutes for them to make your sandwich. ”
“ I had got the cold Italian sub and this was definitely one the best Italian subs I have had in awhile the flavor was amazing. The service was good and a good place to stop and grab lunch. ”
“ Yes if you remember the cheesy British from hoagies corner stores their sandwich tastes just like you would remember. A lot of their sandwiches are named after their historical origins and so would say taste just like the originals. ”
“ "An italian sub sandwich saved my life." Check that off of the things I never would have thought I'd say in my entire life. Ive been passing this place by for 16 years! My coworker would bring in subs and the rest of us and would split them up and eat them for lunch. I forgot to ask her where they were from so I went on a wild goose (sub) chase to find out. Ended up here! This is the place! Get the italian sub because its so delicious. Get their most popular sub the first on on the menu. Please take ALL of my money. But get there during the week. They are closed on the weekend. I'll be back! ”
“ I'm embarrassed that I'm just now writing a review about this place -thought I did years ago! I found this sandwich shop when I bought my house in Lakewood over by American Lake about 6 years ago and was looking for a place with yummy sandwiches. Because when given the choice, I almost always will go for a delicious sandwich. I can remember my first time in. Fortunately, it was slow so when I I mentioned it was my first time, the guy doing the cashiering that day walked me through the menu. He mentioned their most popular sandwich is the Cheesy British so I opted for that one. It was delicious! I have since expanded and had several other options and they're all delicious. My two favorites are probably the Cheesy British and the Italian. They apparently also offer sandwich platters for events -or at least they used to -and I was told they only request a 24-hour notice so they can be sure to order enough fresh bread for the day. That's right -their bread is delivered fresh every morning! This is a family owned sandwich shop and they're all so kind. They seem to get a lot of business from local military, people who work in the area, and of course those who live nearby. You can always tell a place has good food and good service when they're a favorite with locals and military. If you go in, take a good look at the walls and you'll see what I mean. They're closed on the weekends so this is a Monday - Friday kind of place. While I would often love to get a yummy sandwich on the weekends, I appreciate that they're not trying to overextend themselves and keep it simple. Again, this is a family owned business. I don't get over very often anymore since moving to the Frederickson area, but I think of them often and if I am in the area on a Friday, I will still stop in. Highly recommend for old school sandwich lovers who aren't looking for fancy, but just a good sandwich. Like how we used to get back in the day from Hoagie's Corner. Yeah, if you remember the old Hoagie's Corner we used to have back in the 80's/90's with fond memories, you'll like this place. This is your sign to go get a sandwich. ”
“ The sandwiches were super good. The service, not so much. We got an Italian and a Veggie with everything. Both were delicious. Be advised that the prices have gone up considerably. ”
